Terms of Service
Last updated: September 28, 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Weespy: the website www.weespy.now, the Weespy browser extension and the related services and interfaces, including the API and the MCP server when they are available (together, the “Service”). The Service is published by Weespy, identified in the Legal Notice (“Weespy”, “we”, “us”).
By installing the extension, creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
1. What Weespy does
Weespy helps you research SaaS products and their competitors. When you visit or select a SaaS website, it displays information such as company details, estimated traffic, technologies, advertising and social media activity, and search observations.
This information comes from public sources, third-party providers and estimates computed by Weespy. The Service is in early access: features, sources and coverage evolve, and some features may be limited, changed or discontinued.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract. If you use the Service on behalf of a company or another organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind it.
Some features require an account, created by signing in with Google or with a one-time code sent to your email address. You must provide accurate information and keep access to your email and Google accounts secure. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account. If you think it has been compromised, tell us promptly at contact@weespy.app.
3. Free and paid features
The extension and its core features are free. Weespy may offer paid features (the “Pro” offer). Paid features are also governed by the Terms of Sale, which prevail for anything related to ordering, pricing, billing and cancellation.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service unlawfully or in a way that infringes the rights of others;
- use the information obtained to harass, spam or discriminate against people, or to profile individuals unlawfully;
- extract, copy, resell or redistribute the Service’s data at scale, or use it to build a competing database or product;
- access the Service through automated means other than the interfaces we provide, or circumvent its quotas, rate limits or security measures;
- reverse engineer, decompile or modify the extension, except where the law expressly allows it;
- introduce malicious code, or overload or disrupt the Service or its providers;
- impersonate anyone or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or organization.
5. Third-party platforms and content
The Service displays information about third-party companies and content published on third-party platforms, such as X, LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube, TikTok, Meta and search engines. Weespy is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by these platforms or companies. Their names and logos belong to their owners and are shown only to identify them.
Some features may rely, from your browser, on platforms where you are signed in, in order to display information that is available to you there. You remain responsible for complying with the terms of those platforms.
Third-party content remains the property of its authors. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
6. Nature of the information
Information is provided for general research purposes. Much of it comes from public sources or third parties, or is estimated (for example traffic, audience or advertising activity), and it may be incomplete, outdated or inaccurate. It is not professional, legal, financial or investment advice. You are responsible for how you use it and for the decisions you make based on it.
7. Intellectual property
Weespy and its licensors own the Service, including its software, design, texts, logos, and the databases and analyses it produces. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms, for your own or your organization’s internal purposes.
You may use the insights you obtain within your organization. You may not republish or sell our databases or substantial extracts of them. The Weespy name and logo may not be used without our prior written permission.
If you send us suggestions, we may use them freely, without any obligation to you.
8. Personal data
We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Availability and changes to the Service
We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend or discontinue all or part of the Service, in particular for maintenance, security or a change of providers. For paid features, the Terms of Sale also apply.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time: uninstall the extension, and delete your account from the extension settings or by writing to contact@weespy.app.
We may suspend or close your access, after notice where reasonable, if you breach these Terms, if the law requires it, or to protect the Service, its users or third parties. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, such as intellectual property and liability, continue to apply.
11. Liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, Weespy is not liable for indirect damages, such as loss of profit, business, opportunity or data, nor for damages resulting from third-party content, platforms or providers, or from your use of the information displayed.
For the free Service, and to the extent permitted by law, Weespy’s total liability is limited to 100 euros. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or limits the rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The new version is published on this page with its date. For material changes, we inform account holders by email or in the extension at least 15 days before they take effect, unless a shorter period is required by law or for security reasons. If you continue to use the Service after that date, the new Terms apply; if you do not accept them, you can stop using the Service and delete your account.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. Before any legal action, please contact us at contact@weespy.app so that we can look for an amicable solution.
If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence and may bring a claim before the courts designated by law. Otherwise, disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
14. Contact and language
For any question about these Terms, write to contact@weespy.app.
These terms are available in French and English. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
